BCDCOG is soliciting applications for Urban Section 5310 financial assistance to improve the mobility of older adults and people with disabilities by removing barriers to transportation and expanding the availability of mobility options. These funds are provided by the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and allocated by the BCDCOG. This is a reimbursable, matching grant program to fund projects within the urban areas of Berkeley, Charleston, and Dorchester Counties. An overview of the program’s guidelines is available at:

Completed applications are due to the BCDCOG office by October 31, 2022 at 3:00 PM. Applications can either be mailed into the BCDCOG office (Attn: John Lambert, 5790 Casper Padgett Way, North Charleston, SC 29406) or submitted electronically via email to johnl@bcdcog.com.

A confirmation of submittal receipt will be provided to each applicant.
